Guarantee of Authenticity
The authenticity of all Geoworld specimens is unconditionally guaranteed. With over 35 years of experience and expertise collecting, restoring, and selling fossils we have the skills and knowledge to accurately assess fossil restoration or repair and identify fakes. Most of our specimens have little to no restoration, and any alteration to the original is identified. A certificate of authenticity is available upon request.
Return policy
We accept returns within 14 days of purchase for a full refund on items under $1,000 with return approval. Items must be returned in original condition and at the buyer’s expense. Refunds are issued after the item is received and inspected. Please contact us at gallery@geoworldusa.com to request return approval. Items over $1,000 are Final Sale and returns are not accepted.
Handling Time
Your order will ship as soon as possible, timely, safe delivery to you is our top priority. Please allow us 4 business days of handling time after ordering to professionally pack your fossils and minerals. In select cases, when a specimen requires custom crating (most specimens over 30 kg/65 lb), we may require up to 7 business days of handling time.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
We are not responsible for shipments lost or damaged during transit due to postal service or courier error. Our shipments are uninsured unless insurance is requested. Please contact us to arrange insurance for full value protection for lost or damaged items. Every item is professionally packed. In the unlikely event that an item is lost or damaged during transit, we will assist you to locate the item or file a claim. All damages must be reported to gallery@geoworldusa.com within 24 hours of receipt and include photographs of the damage to the specimen and the box or crate. We will file an insurance claim with the carrier. No reimbursement will be made without adherence to these guidelines. Please contact us to assist in choosing the best shipping method for you.
Shipping Times
The customer warrants and represents that the complete and correct delivery address has been supplied with the order and that delivery is possible during regular business delivery hours. Delivery times are estimates only. Geoworld is not responsible for delays during shipping including results of force majeure or customs.
Payments
All prices and payments are in US Dollars. All payments over $10,000 are only accepted by wire transfer. All other purchases may be made by credit card or PayPal.
Import Fees, Duties and Taxes
All fees related to the import of a purchase, including but not limited to: duties, taxes, and brokerage are the responsibility of the buyer and not included in the shipping charges.
Reserve an Item
Items may be reserved with a 20% non-refundable deposit. Items will be reserved for 30 days upon receipt of the deposit. Goods shall remain the property of Geoworld until paid in full.
